Charity Event With A Difference - 05/02/2010

Popular West Midland match organiser Lee Woodhouse has devised a novel pairs event to raise money for Birmingham Children’s Hospital.

Taking place at Barston Lakes near Solihull, Warwickshire, on Friday, 20th August 2010 a list of top names have agreed to attend including Andy May, Darren Cox, Grant Albutt, Steve Ringer, Mark Pollard and Pole Fishing’s very own Jon Arthur.

Lee is pairing up with Barston’s fishery manager Nigel Harrhy and is now on the lookout for 20 more anglers of any ability to partner the 20 stars he has lined up.

“The format will be a pairs match with Nigel Harrhy and myself fishing against a host of angling stars. What we require is 20 anglers that are willing to pledge £200 of sponsorship to partner these anglers. As an added incentive the top five money pledgers will get to choose who they fish with, starting with the highest pledger. The remaining 15 anglers will be drawn for.
