Tri-Cast Tech-Lite Competition - 05/06/2009
For 2009 Tri-Cast has opted to release a range of poles that are dedicated to the all-round pole angler.
This comes on the back of the successful release of the Finesse Competition last year. All four of the range still feature the qualities of Tri-Cast poles of the past – unrivalled strength, yet they are lighter and more manageable than ever before. The Tech-Lite is pitched into a very fierce marketplace with an RRP of £1,899 and a promotional price nearer to £1,250. However, we feel this pole is more than capable of doing anything that is asked of it. If you require it to fish on canals with light elastics then the match kits will be perfect. If your main game is commercials then the Big Bore power kits will take up to a No16 elastic. This pole is as rigid as they come and as balanced as you’ll ever see in the price range. If you need a pole that extends past the Tech-Lite’s full length of 15.7 metres then there is a 1.7m extension available from Tri-Cast.
