XvY: Maggots versus Casters

For this month’s X Versus Y we headed to Makins Fishery near Wolvey in Leicestershire to compare two age-old baits’ effectiveness for silver fish. We asked Drennan-backed ace Paul Yates to fish purely with casters, while Shakespeare-backed Rob Middleton, the current White Acres Silverfish Festival Champion, only had maggots on his side tray.
