After its official opening at the CLA Game Fair yesterday, it's full steam ahead for National Fishing Month (NFM) organised by the Angling Trades Association and its supporting partners. To date, over 250 events have been registered on the official NFM website (www.nationalfishingmonth.com), each detailing when, where and how anyone who wants to learn more about fishing can take part at events in their local area.
Professional Anglers’ Association (PAA) is just one of many bodies that
support National Fishing Month. This year, it has kindly donated a
four-figure sum of cash to support the running of the initiative. This

Everyone who participates in a NFM event will
receive a ‘goody bag’ containing a ‘Get into Fishing’ booklet full of
information on how to get started and advice on different types of
fishing, stickers and a fishing log book. They will also be presented
with a certificate of participation as a memento of their day's fishing.
