Round two of the star studded Preston Innovations Pole Fishing Pairs Championship is set to take place on Saturday, at the prolific Messingham Sands complex near Scunthorpe.
The venue, that is fast gaining a reputation as being one of the best silver fish venues in the country, will see the 100 anglers compete across six lakes.
The winning pair on the day should walk away with £1,000, but with many of the country's top pole anglers taking part, who this will be is anybody's guess.
After round one, Frankie Gianoncelli and Nick Speed lead the way with a two point score, but with three rounds still to go, the battle for the £5,000 overall prize pot really is wide ope,.
For the benefit of the anglers taking part, the venue owner, Kevin Johnson has laid out the pegs that are to be used below. Please note, pairs will have one angler in 'Section A' and one in 'Section B.'
It is also vital that anglers read the fishery rules here before taking part, as well as the competition rules that are downloadable on a PDF here, as anyone found breaking any of these will be disqualified.
Check the Pole Fishing website on Monday for the full results, or see the report here for the league standings to date!
