Hughes Joins MAP

Big name signing for Midlands brand.
Angling coach and former Fish ‘O’ Mania champ Jamie Hughes is latest addition to
the MAP stable.

The 31-year-old angler is one of the most successful and revered

tackle range and brand position.

A full-time angling coach, Jamie is a Pole Fishing magazine regular and has been
competing at the highest level domestically in recent seasons, regularly
figuring in the roll call of the major match fishing events including four Fish
‘O’ Mania finals, 2010 Matchman of the Year title, and a trio of appearences
in the £50,000 Match This final.

Marketing Manager for Leeda, Pat MacInnes, said; "Jamie’s credentials are
second to none and he’s an angler we’ve admired from afar for some time.

As an angling coach he is in a prime position to not only showcase our
products to a range of anglers, but also to give us his insight into how MAP
can be shaped for the future. To have him sign for our growing team is
brilliant news and illustrates the power that MAP has in attracting an angler
of Jamie’s calibre.”

Jamie said; "My decision to join the MAP team was made extremely easy
by the outstanding quality of each of their products. They are the company
at the top when it comes to commercial fishing tackle, and I'm looking
forward to being involved in continuing with the innovative product design
that MAP have become know for.

"I would like to take this opportunity to thank Phil Briscoe and Maver for the massive amount of help they have given me over the years. I feel like MAP are storming in the right direction, and this feels like the right move at the right time."

Jamie joins a team that also includes three-time Matchman of the Year
Andy May, England International James Dent, former Fish ‘O’ Mania finalist
Tony Curd, and river fishing expert Matt Maginnes.
