Lee Harrison’s Daiwa Pole Masters Glory
Drennan backed ace Lee Harrison has won the second day of the Daiwa Pole Fishing Masters at Tunnel Barn Farm, with a massive 172-8-0 net of F1s.

Drawn on peg 13 on Extension Lake, Lee caught good F1s for four hours, and though they seemed to desert him in the late stages of the day, the Barnsley ace did enough to keep his nose in front of the competition.

His tactics involved fishing chopped worm in peat up to the island in front of him, and he also nicked a few fish on casters fished shallow.

In second place was Lee’s Drennan Barnsley teammate, and Match Fishing Magazine’s Assistant Editor, Joe Carass. Joe also caught F1s on worm and caster tactics, and added to his tally with several good carp on meat fished over to the island later in the day.

Colmic backed ace Mark Wainwright took third spot with 144-1-0 from peg 11 on Jennys Pool. The Garbolino Ossett stalwart set out his stall to catch F1s and better carp on worm tactics, and did just that, enjoying consistent sport throughout the day.

In the festival stakes, yesterday’s individual winner Andy Power won his section again, keeping him at the top of the festival league table, behind seven other anglers who also have two section wins.

There are also eleven anglers on three points (a section win and a second) making for an exciting final day tomorrow! Check back in the morning, for our first update on the conclusion of the festival, that will see one lucky angler walk away with £2,000 in cash and a Daiwa Air worth £5,999.
