Fox International – the parent company of match fishing brand Matrix - has announced that its marketing Director Ricky Teale has decided to leave the company for entirely personal reasons, especially concerning the travel to and from home in Telford to Essex in the UK.
Teale – who is also a top flight match angler, is regarded as being one of the most influential and pioneering minds in fishing tackle development for the past generation. Originally from the North West, Ricky was formerly Managing Director of Preston Innovations and made the move to Fox four and a half years ago.
David Algar, CEO of Fox International, said: "While I was disappointed to lose someone of Ricky's calibre, I do respect his decision and he goes with our best wishes and thanks."
Ricky will be leaving some time in the New Year following a proper hand over to the team.
Ricky said: "I have had a good time at Fox and feel that the time is now correct to leave the company. I think the business is in good shape and ready for the challenges ahead. The getting up at 3am in the morning to travel to Essex has started to become a problem so for me the time was correct. I want to have some time off to do some fishing before starting another chapter in my working life.”
